YouTube Figures Out How to Supercharge Super Bowl Ads Even More – Katie Burger

In preparation for Super Bowl 50 and arguably the biggest advertising day of the year, YouTube has relaunched their AdBlitz platform for advertisers to gain extra eyes on their ads before game day. The ad platform will help advertisers generate millions of views before the actual Super Bowl, as almost 40% of Super Bowl views occurred before the big game last year. YouTube’s strategy behind this was to simply follow consumer demand and practice, as consumers have “already migrated in almost everything to a second-screen experience.”
