Super Bowl 2016: FBI warns of possible ‘hi-tech attack’ ahead of NFL game – KEVIN FLYNN

A security memo from gov. officials was issued highlighting the discovery of multiple unsolved sabotages on fiber optic cables in the area. The document was obtained by NBC News 4 Investigation team who revealed that the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security is investigation multiple unsolved incidents that could be connected to a more complex plot that could be carried out at Super Bowl 50. The records showed that at least 10 fiber optic cables mysteriously severed in and around a 40-mile radius from the San Francisco 49er’s stadium between June and July of 2015. Authorities have said that this could have been dummy attacks conducted by terrorists to identify how vulnerable the cables are and gain information on communications infrastructure ahead of a full-scale attack.
