Additional cameras to be used in SuperBowl 50 for On-Field graphics By James Considine

With the Super Bowl fast approaching, this means preparation is underway across the board for all companies involved. One company in particular known as Durham Sports Technology Company SMT is preparing to use nine cameras to produce on-field graphics; also known as those yellow lines that mark downs on Television.

Typically during Thursday night games SMT works on four to five cameras and uses different sophisticated algorithms to produce the on-field graphics. With the upcoming Superbowl fast approaching they have decide to up the amount of cameras to 9; one of which is going to be the most sophisticated and complicated camera they have used to date because it moves instead of being stationary.
