SAP Bringing Virtual Reality And Other Immersive Football Experiences To Fans At Super Bowl 50-Anthony Bao

This article is about the software company SAP trying to bring virtual reality to Super Bowl fans by creating a Fan Energy Zone in San Francisco, where Super Bowl 50 is going to take place. With the SAP HANA Cloud Platform, fans can play, track performance, and share their virtual reality experience. Fans can participate by downloading the Road to 50 app to  make on-site reservations. Participants’ results will be uploaded to a leaderboard for the them to share and compare.

This is a creative way for the company to advertise themselves. They got the fans connect digitally while being engaged to the sports game. Especially when Virtual Reality is still fresh to a lot of people, this is a good opportunity for the fans to try it out.
