The companies who broadcast the Super Bowl often view second screen viewing as important as the game itself. The majority of fans who are watching the game whether they be at home or in the stands are going to use some form of social media during the game. The companies are also paying more money each year to keep up with the growing trend, it has gone from ust a few people posting content to three social media channels during Super Bowl XLVI. During this year’s Super Bowl five people are going to be supervising thirty people who will be spread out across locations in two time zones. Keeping up with the fan experience is crucial to running the Super Bowl broadcast successfully.
