Pre-Super Bowl Social Media Campaign by @BWWings and @Periscope – Bennett Schiff

Companies use social media as one of their main forms of marketing, and in such a large scale advertising opportunity like the Super Bowl, Buffalo Wild Wings is taking advantage of everything they can to get fans involved. They are doing a new form of social media campaign, which will involve them creating a “sports broadcast”. They will monitor all tweets during the NFL Playoffs, compile a list of their favorites, and then create a script for the sports broadcast summarizing the games using only the handpicked tweets. This creates an opportunity for fans to see their tweets be seen on a larger level, and generate a larger amount of recognition for Buffalo Wild Wings twitter account.
