Car Brands Become Super Bowl Defectors – Maria Paula

While people are counting down the days before the start of Super Bowl XLIX, Companies have been counting every dollar to advertise their products within these small fragments of time that exposes them to the millions of fans, who to them, are potential consumers. Fiat Chrysler’s brand has been one of the most impacting company to advertise its brand during the Super Bowl in the past few years. On the other hand, other auto brands have already confirmed their presence in the spectacle this year. Companies like Volkswagen, Jaguar and Lincoln have already set their amount of expenses of $4 million per 30-second during the Super Bowl advertisement. Plenty of other auto brands may show up, for example: Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Toyota  and Mercedes-Benz. Other companies are also advertising in other types of digital media, such as mobile phone and streaming video, or through social media by offering a car-free Super Bowl in 2015.
