This is a really interesting read about the results of social media use during the world cup. What brands “won” or “lost” during the world cup. It breaks down how the top brands marketed during the world cup and whether or not their strategies were effective. I hadn’t heard about Delta’s twitter blunder after the U.S. Men’s National Team beat Ghana 2-1, and now they have to review the way they use social media.
